Friday 17th August – Sunday 19th August 2012
The Cornwall Design Fair is now in its 7th year and once again is being hosted at its now permanent home, Trereife Park, Newlyn in Cornwall. This year the event will run over 3 days from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August , opening from 11am – 6pm daily.
The Cornwall Design has come out of the Design Fair that was first run by Hidden Art Cornwall. Hidden Art Cornwall ran its first Design Fair in 2006 with 65 designer-makers, growing to over 80 in 2008 with an exhibition of selected work inside Godolphin House itself called Hidden Art Curated, as well as design-led entertainment for families.
In 2009 the first Cornwall Design Fair held in association with Hidden Art took place successfully at the inaugural fair at Trereife Park with fifty-one designer-makers. In 2011 seventy-four designer-makers booked in for the fair with over 3500 visitors.
The Cornwall Design Fair has grown in popularity over the years and is now a firm favourite with designer-makers and visitors alike. This is the first year that it will run without the involvement of Hidden Art and the Cornwall Design Fair team are working hard to make sure that it lives up to the reputation of being one of the best design fairs in the country.
All exhibitors are listed on the website www.cornwalldesignfair.co.uk and here is a little something to wet your appetite.
