Lesley McShea is an established “Punk” Potter / ceramicist.
Her work is mainly wheel thrown unique durable stoneware. Although each piece appears similar, there are subtle differences that make each piece unique and a one off.
She learned to throw on the wheel when she was 17, and she gained her first Diploma in Ceramics where she trained at CIT (Caulfield Institute of Technology) Melbourne, Australia in 1982. She studied her BA Honours degree at Middlesex University, in London 1992.
Now Lesley is based in Church Street Workshops, Stoke Newington, London N16. (since 1997)
