German born product designer Florian Kremb focuses on the infra-ordinary and the everyday. His brand, Amplifier, aims to make the most out of the little details, things and qualities that are often overlooked.
He won a European design competition for the UK (“United Arts for Europe”) in 2000, was invited to the prestigious ‘Young Designers and Industry’ project in The Netherlands and had an exhibition of ‘The Chair Project’ in Central London at Burro.
Kremb studied at Central St Martins College and Goldsmiths College in London and was trained at product and graphic design studios in London (Michael Marriott), New York (Material ConneXion, Matador Records Art Dept.) and Milan (Studio Sowden).
