Cr8net is a one-day conference for the creative and cultural industries organised by CIDA, bringing together industry practitioners, Colleges and Universities, policy makers, non-profits and businesses from the creative sector. The converence aims to tackle industry concerns and champions innovation and creativity.

While discussing topics such as ‘The Rise of the Non-Tech City’; answering questions like ‘Are Start-Up loans institutionally elitist?’ and pondering ‘Who wins if unpaid internships are banned?’ Cr8net will debate how cultural policies affect the creative sector, dissect the resultant issues, and ultimately look to find the solutions to them. Built around panel debates, breakout sessions and keynote speakers – the conference will cover a range of subjects, including creative entrepreneurship, digital innovation, funding, diversity and creative clusters.
