The Modern Take on Handmade Thinking
Nitin Goyal celebrated its 10th Anniversary during Maison et Objet (4-8 September 2015 in Paris). For the occasion they presented an exciting new range of contemporary home textiles – cushions and throws along with newly launched fabrics and furnishings, kitchen and tableware.
The inspiration for their new Collection comes from their love for bold yet feminine geometrics, which they reinterpreted in their printed range through a colourful interplay of geo shapes in the hues of grey, black iris, ink blue, berries, lavender, teal and petrol.
This is combined with the gentle geometries of their hand silk screen printed range, which gives an overall feeling of calm and relaxation with its ink, blue, soft pink, berry, emerald, sea foam and graceful blush tones.
Founded in 2005 in London’s trendy and creative East End, Nitin Goyal has established itself as a specialist of luxury home interior textiles and accessories. Their philosophy is that of ‘Fabric meets form and function’ and their textiles and accessories celebrate both the Contemporary and Crafted. It is their ‘modern’ take on ‘handmade’ thinking.
Handcrafted detailing such as intricate smocking, pleating and stitching are combined with an interesting mix of timeless modern prints and fine embroidery. Every piece is handcrafted, from start to finish.
