18 – 21 September 2014
The Old Sessions House
Since Designersblock’s first exhibition in 1998 they have been working alongside forward thinking property owners to source amazing locations for their events. This year for the London design Festival Designersblock will be in one of London’s most historic iconic landmarks, constructed in 1779, the 3000 sqm Grade 2 listed building was the busiest Courthouse in England for over 100 years. With spectacular Regency interiors, large spaces and self contained rooms it’s an inspirational setting for the presentation of work and an additional draw for audiences to experience a building that has not been accessible to the public in living memory.
Designersblock Edition 17 will feature Furniture, lighting, textiles, sculpture, illustration, materials, jewellery, concepts and much more. Presentations include collaborations with Ideas Tap, The Design Council, and Arts Thread. Designersblock takes place as part of the Clerkenwell Design Quarter.
