Bare Conductive Ltd. focuses on the development and manufacture of electrically conductive materials. In the fall of 2011, Bare launched its first product, Bare Paint. This was the first non-toxic conductive paint aimed at individuals interested in engaging with interactive electronics and in bringing surfaces to life. Bare’s products provide users with an exciting platform perfect for prototyping, experimenting, and learning about electronics.

Bare Conductive wants to engage people of all ages with electronics and technology. Bare Conductive was founded by four postgraduate students from the Innovation Design Engineering Course at the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. The Company received an Honorable Mention at the Prix ARS Electronica in 2009, and won the Technology Strategy Board’s 2010 Disruptive Solutions competition. At Bare, the team is passionate about working alongside makers, hobbyists, artists, geeks, and engineers to develop innovative applications for Bare Paint.

They are raising funding for a great project, The Touch Board which is is a tool to make projects interactive, responsive, smart or just fun. You can sese the Touch Board to change the world around you by turning almost any material or surface into a sensor. Connect anything conductive to one of its 12 electrodes and trigger a sound via its onboard MP3 player, play a MIDI note or do anything else that you might do with an Arduino or Arduino-compatible device.
