Hidden Art has always run a project for children, given that they are also a source of Hidden Art.  This has included Hidden Art Select Kids which was a yearly project that  teams up

The designers go into the schools to run workshops with the pupils, showing them how the creative process works, trying out different techniques with them, and culminating in the best designs being printed onto a product produced by Hidden Art. It’s a great chance for the pupils to get an insight into the design process, and for some of them to see their artwork on a finished product.

We love running this project because we think it’s important that people are encouraged from a young age to think about design as a career, and to get an idea of how designers work. We also like working with the local community – Hidden Art started with the Open Studio tours in the 80s, showing people all that Hackney and East London had to offer, and Select Kids is an extension of that idea.
