Inspired by Nature in the Form of Beauty
DesignK creates interior design products that are inspired by nature and things seen in everyday life. By doing this Design K helps design lovers and anyone else to find objects to curate their own home by presenting a collection of original and interesting concepts.
The Dandelion stool was inspired by nature in the form of beauty.
It was first launched at 100% Design in 2010 at Hidden Art’s seating Design exhibition. As a result of this, the stool received a lot of press interest, including from the Sunday Times magazine
The chair consists of stalks of moulded plywood and soft fabric padding. It is designed to high standards so as well as looking good it also delivers surprisingly comfortable and relaxed seating. The chairs are all unique in that the cushion cover is hand knitted by the designer himself.
