Hidden Art is changing

Hidden Art is changing.

With the closure of the London Development Agency (LDA), amongst other funding issues, we had to rethink of how to continue helping designers turn their passion into products. We received 50% of our funding from the European Regional Development Fund, but this ended at the end of September.

21 years of Hidden Art

After having explored different avenues we are now close to announcing the new Hidden Art model to support designers and designer-makers.

This will be revealed shortly.

So sad to hear that Hidden Art is now closing. I had hoped that after last year’s worrying time, funding had been obtained. Being a relatively new member I’ve only attended the two most recent forums. They were excellent. Thank you for all your help and support. I’ve attended the networking sessions and the 121’s and made some super contacts. I’ll miss you.

Really sad to hear that after so many years of supporting designer makers it has come to this. After you all have put in so much time and effort into making HIdden Art a respected brand amongst the design/art/craft communities. Thank you for giving me help and guidance during the first few years of being in business. I wish you all the very best of luck for the future. Hats off to Dieneke and Manuel.

I am really saddened to hear this. You provided such an amazing platform for designer/makers and without dedicated people such as yourselves, it is so very difficult for us to get our work seen. It is very sad times that finance is taken away from supporting artists. Good luck in whatever you do next and thank you for all your years of amazing support to the Arts

So sorry to hear about the closure of Hidden Art after 22 years of dedicated support for UK designer-makers and others. Well done to Dieneke and Manuel for their stirling efforts and years of committment – and good luck to them both for the future

I and the Creative Barcode team salute you
